About
Olga has been studing at the faculty of sociology, St.Petersburg State University since 2006 doing PhD research upon the theme: "Cognitive Possibilities of Max Weber's Conception of Power in the Research of Political Culture". She has tested this conception on the basis of political culture of Great Britain and Russia and made diffirences between the political ideas of the German scholar regarding their practical actuality in the contemporary terms. Also she has analysed the influence of the Anglican and Orthodox religion on the behaviour and political system of the United Kingdom and Russia accordingly.
Now she is starting to analyse the ways of the construction of sociological knowledge to continue her work on PhD thesis.
